NVTC will showcase its 60th anniversary in 2024 and we’d like your organization to be a part of the celebration as a NVTC 60th Anniversary Sponsor! 

In 1964, the Virginia General Assembly created the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC) to help realize the dream of rapid transit in Northern Virginia. Today Northern Virginia is now home to 32 Metrorail stations connecting our communities with the greater Washington DC region and the world. We also led the way in founding the Virginia Railway Express, launching the innovative Commuter Choice program, and providing the important regional venue for launching transit technologies, strategies and policies that have made a meaningful difference to our region. 

To celebrate this important milestone, NVTC will host two major 60th Anniversary events in 2024: a research and policy symposium hosted at George Mason University in June; and an evening celebration and documentary premier at Marymount University in September. In addition, we will highlight our 60th anniversary on our social media networks, commission materials and website throughout the year. 

To make these events a success, we need your help!  

Sponsorship levels start as low as $500 with the top tier Platinum sponsorship at $5000. Each tier of sponsorship provides your organization with increasing opportunities for visibility in our printed and online materials, access to events that will include dignitaries, elected officials and transportation leaders, and organizational recognition at the events.
