The Northern Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC) is seeking a part-time office administrative assistant to be the first point of contact for our guests ranging from members of the public to elected officials. The position also provides a broad range of administrative support across the organization. We are looking for a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and positive, professional demeanor.
The Information Resources Fellow, under our Transit Fellow Program, is an opportunity for students currently studying Archives, Library and Information Science, Records Management or related fields with an interest in public transit to gain valuable professional experience. This fellowship combines a unique blend of working with local government, public transit, information management, archiving and website development. The Information Resources Fellow will support projects that preserve NVTC history, knowledge and cultural assets and continue to tell the story of transit in the region.
